What do you do when you need to build a school but don’t have any bricks and your budget is low?

Well these people in the Philippines didn’t let that stop them. Instead of bricks, they used old plastic cola bottles to create a sustainable and eco-friendly structure to use as a classroom.

In collaboration with Pepsi, the MyShelter Foundation are trying to solve the school shortage problem in the Philippines, one cola bottle shelter at a time.

This particular project used about 5000 plastic bottles, filled with a mixture of soil, water and concrete to make a low-cost but durable building.
