Monday Not a Good Day for Productivity

Source: Abc.net.au

Around 200 000 workers are expected to have called in sick on Monday before Australia Day according to an article on Smh.com.au.

In Victoria this holiday mode was obviously anticipated by the construction industry who have declared Monday an official rostered day off in the industry, so you’re likely to see alot of empty sites around the state and possibly in other parts of the country as well.

The ‘lockdown weekend’ involves the closing of unionised work sites from Friday night until Wednesday morning around the state.
