$2Billion Project to Create 2000 Construction Jobs

The Queen’s Wharf project is expected to create a boom in the area’s construction, and about 2000 construction jobs at its peak.

The $2billion project is expected to begin early next year and will boost the construction sector which has been struggling recently.

The project will require enough steel to build two Story Bridges and enough concrete for a footpath from Brisbane to Sydney, according to the project’s overseers.

During the peak of the project about 2000 workers are expected to be involved in construction work.
