If you’ve lost your job in the motor industry, mining or any other declining sector in South Australia, the state government suggests seeking a job in construction, after it promised $6 billion to infrastructure and other construction projects.

Thankfully the unemployment rate in the state is declining and the state government expects thousands of more jobs to come from its many planned projects.

For workers seeking employment in construction, whether they’ve worked on construction in the past or not, general construction safety training is a must. National workplace health and safety laws mandate that all construction workers be in possession of a White Card before beginning work on a construction site.
