Businesses along Barrack Street in Perth’s CBD are frustrated over the  length of construction work affecting their business. Construction started in April this year with the Water Corporation upgrading a water main. The City of Perth also began its two-way traffic conversion in July, adding to the issue.

Some businesses say they are making 50 per cent less income since the construction began. Some thriving businesses have gone from 100 customers a day to just 25.
