Commercial Construction Enjoys Best Year in A Decade

As residential construction activity winds down, experts say the commercial construction sector in Australia is having its best year in a decade.

According to data from The Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2017 ended strong with building and construction contributing more than $28 billion to the national economy.

While the value of residential work is slowing, commercial construction grew 14.8 per cent in the last quarter.
