The company involved in the construction site explosion at a house in Sydney almost 3 years ago have been fined $240,000.

The company has been charged with a breach of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 for failing to ensure the health and safety of workers and the public.

The 2013 incident happened with an excavator operator attempted to drag a tank out of the ground with an excavator when it exploded. A building on site was destroyed and other properties nearby were damaged.
