Construction Boosting Tasmania’s Economy

One of the state’s that are benefiting from the boom in housing construction is Tasmania, which has seen in a marked increase in new residential starts.

According to Deloitte Access Economics in its latest Business Outlook report Australia’s more competitive currency and the boost in housing construction was helping the state claw its way back from a gloomy economic outlook.

If you’re interested in working in this dynamic industry, remember you have to get a white card first – this is a pre-requisite for anyone pursuing work in the construction industry in Australia.
