Construction Company Charged for Safety Violations

A Victorian construction firm have received a $30,000 fine over a workplace incident that took place in 2014.

During the 22 July 2014 incident, an employee was serious injured after falling 8 metres through unsecured metal sheeting.

The company pleaded guilty to 2 counts of breach health and safety laws for failing to provide or maintain a safe work environment and for failing to provide or maintain safe systems of work.
