Cranes Collide before Getting Stuck

The Cairns Regional Council was recently notified of a crane collision at a construction site which left 2 cranes stuck together for at least 45 minutes.

A witness who lives across the road from the development site said he saw the incident take place around 1:45pm on Saturday afternoon.

According to the man, a tower crane made a big sweep before hitting into a boom crane.

The 2 cranes got stuck together and it took about 45 minutes to separate them.
