Fatalities on The Job High This Year

This year hasn’t been a good one for work related fatalities, with more than 148 Australian workers being killed since the beginning of this year.

From the construction industry 23 workers lost their lives on the job, exceeded only by the transport, postal & warehousing industry and agriculture, forestry and fishing.

There have also been a high number of injuries in the construction sector this year.

As we approach the close of the year, its a perfect time to examine our role in workplace safety, whether employer or employee.
