Machinery Accident Claims Man’s Life on Construction Site

According to Safe Work Australia there have been 45 workers killed this year in Australia, but yet another death has occurred, this time in south west Brisbane.

A man was killed when he was struck in the head by machinery at a construction site.

The man, believed to be in his thirties was airlifted to hospital where he died a short while after.

The man was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition. The incident is under investigation by Wokrplace Health and Safety Queensland.
