Man Hospitalised After Truck Rollover at Quarry

A man was recently injured after the truck he was driving rolled in a quarry on Monday afternoon.

The 40 something year old man was taken to hospital in Bundaberg for treatment after suffering suspected back injury.

The driver was lucky to survive and is in a stable condition but we shouldn’t forget that ruck rollovers can be fatal.

As we approach the Christmas period, it’s important that we don’t slack off on safety. Each year we see a rise in the number of work related incidents around this period because of workers’ lax attitude towards to health and safety.
