Workers in Melbourne can expect rain, wind and cold as a cold front moves in from today and is expected to stay until Friday.

The Winter-like conditions will include chilly winds and rain and some of the coldest days for this time of year experienced in the last 20 years.

Construction workers and those who work outdoors will probably be the most affected and should be prepared for these conditions.
