Queensland Sites to be Ready for Traffic Management Assessments

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland will be running traffic management assessments at work sites across the state between March and May.

The work safety authority will visit construction sites and other industry workplaces where mobile plant and vehicles such as cars and trucks are in operation. Mobile plant includes forklifts, cranes and elevating work platforms.

It’s important¬† that employers identify and address the risks of interactions between mobile plant and vehicles and people. It’s also important to identify effective traffic management strategies.
