A major redevelopment in the city of Alexandria, near Washington D.C has unearthed a rare Revolutionary War-era ship.

Builders digging the foundation for a new hotel on the water found the vessel most likely from the 1700s. The ship is believed to be either a military or cargo ship.

Construction workers are always making amazing discoveries but this is one that impressed even archeologists.
