Safe Work Australia Highlights Tradie Health in August



Safe Work Australia has designated August as Tradies’ National Health Month, and this means the focus will be on the health and wellbeing of tradespeople.

Tradies have been encouraged to make their health and that of their co-workers a priority.

Safe Work Australia will be putting safety in focus through a collection of data, videos, resources and information on its website.

Research reveals that the most common cause of injury involves muscular stress while lifting, carrying or putting down objects. Traumatic joint injuries are the most common type of serious injuries claims.

Safe Work highlighted the construction industry in particular for its high risk nature.
