Safe Work Month Highlights Work Health and Safety

apprentice training 2October is Work Safe Month and as the name suggests its a time to reflect on safety.

It is also a time to celebrate the successes we have had in safety and in light of this a number of events are being held across Queensland throughout the month.

Industrial Relations Minister Grace Grace explained that events would include casual toolbox talks during morning tea to full blown conferences with expert speakers.

Basically its about raising awareness about the important issue of workplace safety, Ms Grace said.

One of the highlights of the month is a Safe Work and Return to Work Awards Ceremony, being held in Brisbane on 18 October.
