Two workers fell from a scaffolding at a construction site in north-west Sydney recently and had to be rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
The 2 men, were at work on a Meriton Street in Gladesville when the fall incident occurred.
The workers, believed to be in their twenties, were treated for lower leg injuries.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said a rescue operation had to be undertaken because the 2 men could not be accessed. The one was able to lower himself down from the scaffolding and the other moved down to a lower level where he was removed by emergency personnel.
