VUE on King William

The tallest residential building in Adelaide is nearing completion. The Vue on King William recently reached its topping out stage and construction workers gathered on the top floor of the building for a ceremony.

The topping out ceremony held 85 metres above the ground on the tower’s top floor was marked with a large Christmas tree being raised by a 125metre crane.

The 28 storey building’s construction began a year ago and took 740 tonnes of steel, 32,000square meters of formwork and 332,500 man hours to get to this stage.
