Worker Critical After Electric Shock Incident

A woman at a timber business in Garbutt suffered an electric shock recently and had to be rushed to hospital for treatment.

The woman, in her fifties was working at the Schmid Street business when the incident occurred .

Paramedics were called to the business and the woman was taken to Townsville Hospital where she is in a critical condition.

The incident is under investigation by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland.
