Canberra construction firm, Kenoss Contractors have received a $1.1 million fine for safety failures relating to the death of a truck driver in June 2012.

Michael Booth’s truck made contact with low-slung power lines, resulting in his electrocution. The company didn’t take the necessary steps to warn workers of the hazards and also failed to co-operate with authorities during the investigation, even altering records.
