Man Dies on Construction Site While Taking Selfie

A disturbing trend has led Russian authorities to launch a campaign promoting safer selfies as many people have been injured and even killed due to taking selfies in dangerous situations.

Last week a tourist died when he climbed up the 1 William Street construction site, presumably to take a selfie at the top.

It seems there is a trend that young people are falling into, taking selfies in increasingly dangerous situations.

Construction sites are no place for inexperienced, non-construction workers. Ensure that the site is secure at the end of each day and that intruders are kept out, for their own safety and the safety of others.
