Notifiable Fatalities August Report

The Notifiable Fatalities Report for August 2015 has been released by Safe Work Australia and it indicates that 14 people were killed in work related notifiable fatalities in the month of August this year.

Of the fatalities, most were male, 12 in total and 2 females.

Three of the fatalities occured due to the victims being hit by a moving object. There were also fall from height incidents, an incident involving being hit by a falling object and 2 as a result of a vehicle accident.

Three of the fatalities were in construction workplaces.
