Robots can lay bricks tree times faster than human masons alone, but that doesn’t mean that these robots are going to replace humans any time soon on the construction site.

SAM – short for semi-automated mason is the latest in construction technology. The robot is being used to increase productivity of masons by working with them to lay bricks.

The robot can lay 800 to 1,200 bricks a day whereas human masons lay between 300-500 a day.
