Dubai Starts Construction on Tallest Building

Dubai is well known for having the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa and that’s not a title they’re ready to lose just yet. In fact the new world’s tallest building is under construction at Dubai Creek Harbour and is expected to be done by 2020.

The Tower as it has been named will be taller than 828 metres (2.700ft). Construction of the building will be cost around $1 billion and has been designed by Santiago Calatrava Valls, the man behind the World Trade Centre PATH Station.

The tower will boast a 360 degree observation deck which will provide visitors with an amazing panoramic view of the city.
