worksafe wa

Workers in the construction sector are being reminded to protect their hearing from chemicals that may cause hearing damage.

WorkSafe says one in five constrction workers have hearing problems and while we may be cautious of the obvious risks, we can sometime ignore risks such as chemicals that can affect hearing negatively.

These cheicals then make their way through the blood vessels supplying the inner ear and damages the cellls, affecting the hearing.
