Government Push for Construction Watchdog Continues

The state government has vowed to continue its fight for the return of the Australian Building and Construction Commission after a failed Senate vote recently.

The Opposition, Greens and some crossbenchers voted against bringing back the construction watchdog which was done away with 3 years ago by the Labor government.

The state government says the watchdog is needed to tackle the lawless nature of the construction industry.
