The Fortnightly OH&S News Wrap-Up: New Report on Workplace Bullying

The Standing Committee on Education and Employment has recently tabled a new report titled: “Workplace Bullying: We Just Want It To Stop”. The report contains 23 recommendations covering 6 topics, including a changing definition of workplace bullying and recommended tools for managing workplace bullying incidents. Workplace Bullying is a serious issue confronting workplaces across Australia. The issue is becoming more and more prevelant as the new Code of Practice is being discussed. One key action in developing strong Workplace Bullying policies and procedures is providing training for all employees.
